Missed a class? We’re sorry to say that once the time is lost in your teacher’s schedule, you are liable for payment on that lesson time. Please help us plan ahead!

Cardon Studios keeps this part as simple as possible– no preparation necessary. All you will need at home is a reliable WiFi signal, and either a cell phone, tablet, or computer with a webcam. Simply position the camera with a view of yourself (ideally torso and up), and you’ll be ready to roll! You’ll receive a reminder email 24 hours before each session with a convenient direct link to access your teacher’s online Zoom classroom. Consider tweaking your Zoom Audio settings to help your teacher hear you as well as possible (they will let you know if you need to make adjustments!).

We love sharing student successes in our Online Events Series. Whether for our casual Open Mic Nights, constructive Masterclasses, or pre-recorded Student Showcases, there’s an outlet for performers of all skill and comfort levels to practice presentation skills and experience working through the challenges of live performance, all from the safety of home and in a supportive community of peers. Yes! We do maintain an ‘open studio’ policy, meaning you are welcome to work with a variety of teachers if you wish to gather multiple perspectives. While we wouldn’t recommend bouncing around very much if you’re a beginner (in fact, we recommend a recurring schedule with a primary teacher), we recognize that a more seasoned musician may benefit from variety in approaches. So, you’re welcome use your membership in whatever best fits your needs. Not sure? Feel free to email us about your background and goals– we’re always happy to advise!

Your commitment is only month-to-month, we can stop any time; simply submit our handy Membership Update Form with 15 days’ notice before your next scheduled billing to cancel. Just taking a step back due to illness or planned travel? Let us know you’d like to pause your account and we’ll be happy to coordinate so your membership resumes when you’re ready.

For the best results, we recommend a recurring (weekly or bi-weekly) schedule. Of course, if something comes up, you’ll have full access to schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments. And, if you ever need any help, we’re just an email away!

With your month-to-month membership, Cardon Studios securely stores your billing information so that you don’t need to login in repeatedly to pay your tuition. Charges recur automatically every four weeks until you opt to pause or cancel.

Absolutely! We believe that your feelings are intricately intertwined with your artistry and want you to play songs you love. In most cases, your teacher can help guide you to something that’s already on your want-to-play list that will check the boxes they have for you with regard to your development. Of course, to make sure we don’t leave any gaps, we may recommend a method workbook as well, depending on your needs.
